A Near Death Experience (NDE)

NDE is an event in which individuals are clinically dead for a period of time and then revived.
These experiences often leave a lasting impact and raise profound questions about life after death,
what may lie beyond, and whether we existed before we were born.

Common Features Reported in NDEs:
Out-of-body experiences (seeing one’s body from above)
A sense that time does not exist; no perception of a time dimension
A deep sense of peace or detachment from pain
Moving through a tunnel or toward a light
Encountering spiritual beings or deceased relatives
A life review — seeing one’s life “flash before their eyes”
A choice or command to return to the body

People who experience NDEs often report:
A reduced fear of death
A greater sense of purpose or spiritual awakening
Increased compassion and less attachment to material possessions
